Like everything I have bought from Sequent, the Industrial Automation HAT just works. When I came across a weird thing with a sensor I was trying to use I hit up the chat at 8:30PM, sure enough they were right there to get me fixed up. Great products, and even better support.ld trust with potential customers.

I bought the Sixteen Solid State Relays for Raspberry Pi and I was up and running in less than one hour! After installing Node-Red on Raspberry Pi 4B, I followed the direction provided here and added the pallet for this relay PCB. In less than a few minutes the flow was enabling and disabling the relays. Couldnot havebeen any easier.

The Sequent Microsystems RTD board is a good device to use for my project. Having the python and NodeRed node definitions to allow easy programming to access the data. I also had an excellent response from Sequent Microsystems to any questions or issues I had with using this product.

I have used this for automating a brewery cellar system (24 fermenters) using this card, the relay card and Node Red. Support has been fantastic with a small change I requested done in a matter of days. I also like that the RTD's can be calibrated. Other systems I've looked at have cost tens of thousands of $$ whereas this solution does the same for way under a grand.

Connecting Raspberry Pi to the Real World

Sequent Microsystems designs and manufactures I/O cards for Raspberry Pi. Our products expand the capabilities of Raspberry Pi with analog inputs and outputs (0–3.3V, 0–10V, 4–20mA), optically isolated inputs from 3 to 240V AC or DC, 2 to 16 relays and solid-state outputs, event counters, quadrature encoders, 1K/10K thermistors, all types of thermocouples, PT100 and PT1000 RTD sensor inputs, real-time clock with battery backup, RS485/MODBUS, RS232, RS422, M-BUS, 1-Wire, CAN communication, and MOSFET and TRIAC load drivers. All Sequent cards communicate with Raspberry Pi exclusively through the I2C port, leaving the GPIO pins available for other tasks. We also offer three multifunction boards—Home, Building, and Industrial Automation—that serve as “Swiss Army Knife” solutions by integrating a wide range of functions in compact form. For additional capacity, cards can be stacked up to eight levels, and extra universal inputs, relays, or solid-state outputs can be added using compatible expansion cards. Up to eight cards of each type may be combined on a single Raspberry Pi, offering virtually unlimited flexibility. Custom inquiries are always welcome.
