IOPLUS card not working

  • I can not seem to get this Home Automation card to work.

    Install the library,

ioplus -list does not show any board connected

i2cdetect does not show any board connected

I have tried different stack level jumpers, it does change state of a relay when you plug/unplug the board and the D15 LED stays lit solid, which is related to relay 5.

The relay stays picked up through a reboot of the RPI

I have it powered from the RPI5, and have 5.11 VDC at the connector on the side of the board.

No "heartbeat" LED (do not think this board has one, I do not see one on the schematic)

I plug in one of my 4 smart relay boards and it sees the board, and I am able to run that board from command line.

Any ideas on what to look for next ?

    Thanks!

  • The card should have a status LED that should blink; otherwise, it's a dead one.

What is the version of this card?

Do you have an order number for this card?

  • I found the status LED, its on the long side almost in the middle of the long sidem, right by analog input #1.  I could not see it when it was in the stack.  It is a v4.0

This is the one that I could not get the stack ID to change on, I ended up using other boards that I had to work around that.

It is weird to me that relay #5 is energized as long as its powered up.

I will DM you the order number.

    Thanks!!

  • What does the status LED? There are 3 possibilities: 1) Blink sort ON long OFF; 2)Equal ON/OFF; 3) complete OFF.
