Well I have a new project I am planning.
I really want to use the backplate setup with the 8in-8relay, 6 RTD, 8 4-20in, 4 slot back, and compute module carrier.
On the comp module carrier, I really wish there was a NVMe slot for a 2230 or 2242 SSD on there. SD cards suck. The RPI is so much faster with the SSD especially when I have logs being saved locally, and have NodeRED running running on the same RPI.
I have eyeballing Codesys as an alternative to OpenPLC.
I am trying to figure out what licenceing I need for Codesys. Initially looks like Codesys Control Basic S for $35 covers this project.
I am going to download the software and seee what it all looks like.
