Because the IGND pin is connected between every 4 channels, you cannot do that. Because all 4 high-current channels have the same GND1 and all 4 high-voltage channels have the same GND2 (GND1 is g...
Ah I see I took "You can vary the schematics as long as current flows from OUT (pin2) to IGND(pin 1)" to mean that I could move the load in regard to "Does the relay need to be after the DC Load a...
In the first message of this topic, you posted a schematic that is the correct way to connect the load. The one you just sent will not work. In your case - first load: +12V -> ligt (on...
Hi Alex, Please find attached. If i turn on the light, both the light and pump comes on, and vise versa. Id like to control them individually
Hi, If you can share the connection diagram, I might point you in the right direction. Alex.
Good evening, I have just gotten around to properly testing this board and it is not behaving how I would expect. I was under the impression I could control 4 separate DC circ...
The Modbus parameters can be changed only over the I2C port. There is a serial number (processor unique ID), but it is available only via bootloader commands, which are not public. Except that I c...
I am sorry, but I didn't have a chance to look into this.
Also, are there any modbus registers for determining make model or perhaps even serial #. are there any modbus registers for modifying unit numer comms parameters.. Regards
Hi Alex, Just checking if you have though any more around to exposing the extra built in functinality so I can do simultaneous measurements from all channels multiple stacks for a couple of seconds...
OK i opened it up in VSC and realized the identifications for the relays are the letter O and not zero. I have it closer to working now....It will load on the v3 runtime, I have anothe...
Hi Jake, Thank you for doing that. I made the v3 libraries a long time ago, but I am not sure I understand what you are asking. Could you give me more details? Alex.
I have been working on coming up with ways to keep using OpenPLC. The current work around is a library that I have created with SM_16DIN, SM4REL4IN, SM_8RELAY, SM_HOME, SM_INDUSTRIAL, and SM_...
Hi,Since February 2023, I have been using your older "Sixteen Digital Inputs 8-Layer Stackable HAT" and a few other of our HAT´s for Raspberry Pi. I used it to read 12V AC signals from ...
Could you give me more info? What do you mean you're not getting any data from the card? Have you connected a thermistor to get the temperature or a dry contact to read his state?
@alexburcea *Disregard this It's a software issue in Relay Equipment Manager. 4rel4in command line is reporting fine. I think the workaround only worked for powering the card. ...
@alexburcea thanks. I spoke with sequent this morning, possibly you. This will all be powered by the ups card when it arrives, so no need to troubleshoot.
Hi, This card can be used with either a 5V or a 24V power supply. Both power rails with his fuse. I assume the 24V fuse is blown, but you can check that with a multimeter.
Just confirmed 5vdc input on the 5v header works fine, but I do prefer to power this with 24v.
